ONE YEAR WHOLE

I can't believe that I started my first round of whole30 a year ago. I had no idea when I stumbled upon this concept that it would totally change my life and help to inspire tons of others to change theirs too.

I'm down 118 pounds from my highest weight and only 22 pounds away from being HALF MY SIZE.

It is really crazy how inspirational and motivational my story is to others. I don't think of myself as an inspiration. I still feel like the before girl. I look at the size medium and size 8 and think that is WAY too tiny that's not gonna fit my body. Mentally I don't see that. Part of my issue is skin. I have a lot of excess skin. I may weigh a lot less and be smaller but my body really still looks somewhat the same to me because unfortunately I have weird saggy skin. My tummy, thighs, arms, and breasts are REALLY not how I imagined them. I have read a lot of weight loss stories and the common theme seems to be coming to terms with excess skin and mentally wrapping your brain around being smaller. I still have a long road ahead. I am nowhere near the end of this journey. I am excited to see what lies ahead and what my TWO YEARS WHOLE will look like. Im thinking ....

But realistic ... this is my life

Im gonna take it one day at a time and focus on my health and getting faster and stronger not looking like the fitness model. I don't need to look like her to be a beautiful happy wife and mom.

My husband is so supportive of all of my hard work. He found me the perfect card and got me the best gift.

It said have a happy healthy mothers day :)

And we are going to go to sports spectrum to get legit running shoes personally fit for me!

I am now running and going to the gym regularly, but the thing that changed me is Whole30.
