Damn it feels good to be a GANGSTER

Yeah I was a total gangster at the gym today.  I jogged for 5 minutes straight and killed it in abs. WHAT WHAT  We have all seen the pin about "if you look good afterwards you didn't do it right!"  SO here is my before and after hahah  Putting on my tennis shoes is what puts me in the kick butt mood!  One of the other things that I have been focusing on is looking and feeling better all over- not just with my weight. It makes me feel good about myself and it keeps me on track. SO yesterday I decided to buy new makeup.  Revlon Photo Ready  The "airbrush" foam is AWESOME and I also really like the cream blush!  Looking and feeling pretty helps my body image and keeps me motivated to continue working hard Also I love this stuff I have been getting it for a couple of years now. Dr. Teals Relax and Relief Eucalyptus Spearmint. Nothing feels better than a minty fresh bubble bath after a hard work

228.... thats my WEIGHT!?! I have now lost 47 pounds! When I lose 3 more pounds I will have lost 50 pounds... OH MY LORD  T his is actually a slightly creepy photo hahah but LOOK thats what 50 pounds looks like The best part of this for me is the tons of delicious food I am eating! I never feel deprived in fact I actually feel WAY better than ever before. Whataburger you are delicious its true but its such a pain to have stomach aches from a ton of fries no matter how good it tastes... the stuff I am making tastes just as good!!!  Tonight I did a crock pot meal knowing that I would be coming home late and wanted to save time. This is half a pork roast that put on low with some chicken broth and a head of cabbage. It cooked from 7 am to 6 pm MMMM Serve it over rice and VOILA deliciously wonderful meal ready when you walk through the door from the hardcore workout you just did that made you ravenous! 

BACK TO SCHOOL!

Today was the first day that kids were back at school. Woke up at 6:30 Ate a leftover banana flax muffin MMMM Got to school at 7:15 Was on my feet all day Had to deal with discipline issues even on the first day of school... SERIOUSLY? Not a good sign. BUT really it was minor things and they fixed it once I gave them the scary face haha Stayed at work planning for tomorrow and making copies and left at 4:50 NORMALLY this would have been a great excuse NOT to go to the gym. Instead I already had my gym clothes in the car and I headed straight to the gym from work. I worked out for an hour!!! And I kicked butt. I didn't take it easy on myself. I had that moment where I questioned if I could hit the jog button again and just told myself "DO IT YOU FAT HOOKER!" and I did. I also tried a couple of new things today. These were seriously hard and I felt like I was at crossfit. It got my heart racing and I was sweating all over again. TOE TAPS  Apparently

Eat Better, Look Better, Feel Better REPEAT

Eating better is becoming fun! The challenge of making delicious food but with low calories and eating more whole grains, fruits, veggies, lean proteins, fish, and less processed foods is really making me look and feel better. I have to say besides the obvious outcome of losing weight, eating right makes my body FEEL good. I actually have energy and I don't remember the last time I had stomach pains from 1. eating too much or 2. eating overly fatty foods  Healthy options are much more appealing when you realize how much your body will reward you for your better choices. When you think about going to get fast food or indulging in that giant slice of pizza etc. remember: While junk food offers a pleasurable experience, the longer-term impacts on our body are not pretty.  By its very nature and the lack of quality nutrients, junk food delivers empty calories, little nutritional value, and ingredients that create biochemical reactions that are harmful to our bo
