Bachelorette Survival

I have not posted the last few days because I haven't felt very good and I have not been to workout the last two days. My knee started bothering me again on Tuesday and so because I wasn't working out it made me feel like I gained 30 pounds the last two days. In just a moment I am off to the gym this morning because I am driving to Kingsland, TX today to go to a Bachelorette party.

I am BEYOND excited about it. First of all as I mentioned in a previous post about my favorite coffee mug Chris and I went to Kingsland to a B&B called Antlers for our Honeymoon. We will only be about a mile down lake LBJ this weekend. AWWWW memories.

Plus I get to be with my cousins.

YEAH WE ARE HOT!
This is usually what happens when we all get together.

My main concern is that I will gain 10 pounds this weekend. I plan to go to the gym beforehand like I said and hopefully tomorrow morning people will sleep a little late and I can get up early and go for a walk/jog. THEN I won't feel so guilty participating in a wine tasting at a vineyard. I am thinking that I won't drink any other alcohol. I haven't had a drop of alcohol or diet coke in 2 months! I don't want to ruin all the really hard work I put in just in the last few months BUT I also don't want to be "that girl" who won't have fun or let lose because she is on a "diet". I am not on a diet I am changing my lifestyle and I just have to decide what is best for me. I am going to have fun and let lose but I don't want to go crazy HOWEVER how do you go to a bachelorette party and not have too much alcohol... I think thats against Bachelorette party rules. I think my biggest challenge will be getting past it mentally that it is OK to have some sugar, fat, and alcohol during my lifetime as long as its only every once in a while and at special events. I am not going to gain 10 pounds... thats ridiculous.

Am I going to be perfect this weekend? No but am I still making progress? YES
Will I eat everything in sight? NO WAY I will eat smart and then save up for wine PLUS make sure I get in some physical activity.

Another tip I saw to be sneaky and not let people know I am not drinking is to make mixed drinks with diet soda or seltzer and then omit the liquor after awhile and nobody will know... SMART.

HERE IS TO A GOOD WEEKEND
AND NO WORRIES OR REGRETS

MY WEIGHT LOSS IS SUPPOSED TO BE POSITIVE NOT MAKE ME FEEL GUILTY WHEN I WANT TO INDULGE FOR A SPECIAL ONE TIME ONLY BACHELORETTE PARTY FOR MY BEAUTIFUL COUSIN!
